~ Oak Forest ~ A forest composed mainly of Oaks stands, plentiful after centuries and shaded by the broad leaves of the largest. Deer roam in two's and three's, sticking to the shadows and grazing the small plants upon the forest floor. These animals make ideal prey for wolves but will they be stealthy enough to capture this fast footed prey?

~ Lower Mountains ~ The lower mountains are rocky, with mossy trails and hollows to shelter in. A tree stump found in a ground level hollow, amazes younger wolves and they often venture here, playing among the rocks. Trees grow on the slopes and lead to the forest which means the wolves never have to venture into the open to get to the lower mountains.

~ Melted Glacier ~ This vast lake lies deep within the mountains, surrounded by their peaks and protected from unwanted eyes. Named for its coldness, even in hot seasons, this lake has lain for thousands of years, known only to wolves and several deer, brave enough to travel the winding tunnels through the mountains to reach it.

~ Arven Pack ~ Named after the founding alpha, this pack roams forest areas as well as the lower mountains. They prefer to stay in one place and wait for migrating herds to pass through before setting off on a large hunt. Other times of the year, they hunt stray, smaller animals, often leaving the younger ones to practice their hunting skills for the large hunt. ~ Cairn Pack ~ A small territorial pack of hardy members, which roam all year round, following migrating herds of deer and caribou. They only stay in one place during spring when the puppies arrive and hang around for several months before travelling again. Though there aren't many wolves in the pack, they are a force to be reckoned with and used to tough conditions.
